  • Short trekking on the rocks with petrified trees. A well marked trail, although you have to reckon with light water. Here also connects to the sea with the Pacific Ocean. Something wonderful. Another attraction in the area is Salt Lake and the beautiful beach. In total, I regret that I did not know that this area is so cool and not made from our base.

  • Very nice ballad, access is through a forest road, which runs along a camping... the Savannah is a large tray, very colorful, and some vegetation: various cactus with on one side the very green relief, across the sea, alternating between magnificent cliffs and white sandy beaches... Predict hat, protections for sunburn and water, however the sea air to well handle the heat...

  • We really enjoyed our walk along this coast, being on the Atlantic Ocean, it was rugged and wild. As suggested in many other reviews, water, sunscreen and a sun hat are recommended because of lack of ...  more »

  • Great walk along the beaches. At certain points you can see some crabs walking around the trees and bushes - sometimes around your foot. After the first half hour, you will see the savane in all its glory: great view at the plateau and at some cliffs. At mostly every point you can rest and go swimming at the beach. It took us about 3 hours to there and back to the car.
  • Martinique - Anse Traubaud is a pretty beach with many palm trees. It's topless as a general rule - be sure to check locally before going nude. You can also check out Petite Anse de Salines and decide yourself if going nude will be acceptable.
  • A beautiful ride was making in the part South of Martinique, in the morning or after 4 p.m., the Sun tape strong and not shadow...

  • From the Grande Anse des Salines leads to Anse Trabaud a nice hike through the desert-like Savane of the Pétrifications.

  • Place owes its name to the fact that there was once many pieces of hardwood, sometimes, fossilized. But the looting did disappear these geological relics and Savannah attracts more today than hikers who come to admire the amazing landscape. It is indeed at the heart of a small almost desert area on a tropical island to the usually lush vegetation. The trail, which is a small portion of the Trace of the Caps, begins in the slot wood next to the pretty plum Cove Beach. We then arrive at a small wooden bridge that allows crossing the pond of the Salinas River. Allow 2 hours of hiking. Don't forget hats!
