  • Great walk along the beaches. At certain points you can see some crabs walking around the trees and bushes - sometimes around your foot. After the first half hour, you will see the savane in all its glory: great view at the plateau and at some cliffs. At mostly every point you can rest and go swimming at the beach. It took us about 3 hours to there and back to the car.
  • Martinique - Anse Traubaud is a pretty beach with many palm trees. It's topless as a general rule - be sure to check locally before going nude. You can also check out Petite Anse de Salines and decide yourself if going nude will be acceptable.

  • From the Grande Anse des Salines leads to Anse Trabaud a nice hike through the desert-like Savane of the Pétrifications.

  • Place owes its name to the fact that there was once many pieces of hardwood, sometimes, fossilized. But the looting did disappear these geological relics and Savannah attracts more today than hikers who come to admire the amazing landscape. It is indeed at the heart of a small almost desert area on a tropical island to the usually lush vegetation. The trail, which is a small portion of the Trace of the Caps, begins in the slot wood next to the pretty plum Cove Beach. We then arrive at a small wooden bridge that allows crossing the pond of the Salinas River. Allow 2 hours of hiking. Don't forget hats!
