Anse Trabaud, Sainte-Anne

3.9
#11 of 18 in Outdoors in Sainte-Anne
Visit and relax at Anse Trabaud, a nearly deserted beach on the Atlantic with a mix of rough and calm water. Inexperienced swimmers are discouraged from visiting without an expert--if you don't trust your in-the-water skills, try kayaking here instead. The area offers no tourist amenities, so bring your own supply of water, food, and other essentials. To access this isolated beach, visitors must pass through a private estate, where a per-car entry fee is charged. Anse Trabaud is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Sainte-Anne Edition.

  • May 2018 Sargasso are there and in number over a meter by place! What was a piece of paradise becomes hardly appreciable! Smells and poisoning! Pay €2 5And make 4km of high road there not knowing what awaits you! Pass your way!

  • I'll spare you the stories of high road and the 2,5 euros because everything has been said (by the way it is also what makes this place remains more or less wild) we discovered this beach 2 years ago and it was for us heaven only the world with what to waves to amuse adults and at the edge without danger to the smaller part. We have never been pestered, and anyway in week or weekend we are not many. This year is a year to sargasse and Anse Trabaud is not spared. However we found a place on the acceptable range without too many odor and algae and had a great day! For those who do not know this beach I recommend it at this time because they would be disappointed.. .but definitely the most beautiful for our family without these pesky algae!

  • After 4 km from hardly passable paths with nauseating smells, we arrive at a "beach" Sargasso and many rolls! Short of lost time, move along there is unfortunately nothing to do!

  • Looks like paradise, smells like paradise, feels like paradise. This one beach is difficult enough to get to that there is no building around, not that much people on it, and absolutely no sound except nature.
  • Very pretty beach. Access by the ballad from the beach of Salinas or via path initially rte D9. High way and paid € 2.5 access. Clean beach. No infrastructure near the beach. Plan to drink enough.

  • Beach Atlantic coast. Access is by a chaotic private road (Attention to low cars and time). The price of parking is €2.50 in case. The beaches are more wild but at the moment they are covered with Sargassum seaweed which the emanation of gas is toxic. There is also a trail that will lead you to the Savannah of petrification.

  • Sublime Beach almost deserted, but she wins... the "access road" is a path of Earth and rocks that puts bad shock absorbers, but it is done with a little patience :) Provide for 2.50 euros for the right-of-way across a farm property.
