Anse Trabaud, Sainte-Anne
(3.7/5 based on 80+ reviews on the web)
Visit and relax at Anse Trabaud, a nearly deserted beach on the Atlantic with a mix of rough and calm water. Inexperienced swimmers are discouraged from visiting without an expert--if you don't trust your in-the-water skills, try kayaking here instead. The area offers no tourist amenities, so bring your own supply of water, food, and other essentials. To access this isolated beach, visitors must pass through a private estate, where a per-car entry fee is charged. Put Anse Trabaud on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Sainte-Anne trip itinerary maker.

  • After 20 minutes on a private road full of holes and potholes and pay 2.50 euros to the owner, we Park our car in a parking lot of fortune. A few hundred meters further, we discover the Anse Trabaud. And there is glare. A wild beach of 4 km area and alone in the world. Crystal clear water, sand white with some algae but it is lined with Palm trees and coconut trees nature. Well we took to take a picnic to enjoy the day in this beautiful setting. We were coming to spend 2 hours and finally stayed the whole day so this Cove is Heavenly. We ran into a few local visitors but we have the feeling to be robinson Crusoe, about 30 people on 4 km. A beach to miss, in Martinique, although it must make a detour and roll stepper for 20 minutes. Amazing.

  • After a chaotic road access to a gorgeous beach. Feels alone in the world. Nature on the beach allows to shelter from the Sun, the water is transparent. Happiness... On the other hand, for lovers of snorkeling, there is not much to see (or we were unlucky)

  • We feel truly privileged when you set foot on this wild and unspoilt beach. And the color of the water is just magical
