  • This museum is very well placed on the beach Cove fig tree, Ideal therefore for a visit nonetheless instructive. We learn a lot about the pre-Columbian, colonial period and also slavery. The Museum is located on the site of an old distillery; There are still ruins that are the proof including the chimney. The visit will not take more than 30 minutes which will leave time to spend the whole day at the beach

  • A floor also. After the Museum of Fort de France, we entered the Cove fig tree Museum. Small bet for a little tour of the origins of Martinique, of its occupants. Endless discussions of the conversations of the 3 agents of Fund have loudly accompanied our visit...

  • A very interesting Museum of the history of the Islands with a total lack of information in languages other than French. Râdrm to the wonderful beach

  • The Ecomusée de Martinique is located in an old Destillierie, whose Zubehör partly very dominates the room. The exhibition area is spread over 2 floors and an annex. Very interesting are the details of the indigenous people, the history and some crops. The second floor focuses on the craft and some products in an adjoining room is illuminated the life of writer Joseph Zobel. The staff is very friendly, speaks a little English. The guide of the exhibition, is bilingual (French and English).
