  • The JM distillery gets, she is just north of Martinique and you need to use roads to get there! It is a small jewelry very well restored and highlighted in a green setting at the bottom of a valley... The tour is free and free, well explained with an issue and you will finish by an olfactory workshop very playful, just before you enjoy your selection! A little regret, we went there on Saturday and could not make the excursion in 4 x 4 in cannes and banana plantations that did not place the weekend! We are delighted with this visit and the almost 2 hour drive from Sainte Anne South of Martinique which enabled us to discover the Atlantic coast of the island!

  • We came to visit two other rhumeries and we were delighted with this ultimate visit... home of the friendliest, tasting at the top and lots of pretty things to see in the gardens... This has been for us our best rum distillery tour! We recommend it highly

  • First day in Martinique and it's pouring rain. That never mind, we begin to share a visit to this charming distillery. 30 min walk into the distillery to discover the manufacturing. Plant still in operation, the employees are at work. The visit ends with a tasting of different rums for sale on the site. Between the raindrops we walking in the beautiful garden and exotic. do not hesitate going around 4 x 4 in the plantation. A big thank you to David who taught us a lot and made the nice walk despite the showers.

  • There’s a lot to like about this place but a general caveat that JM is pretty focused on the rum and less about the extras (art museum, sculpture garden etc)like Clement. That said, the location is beautiful; it’s mountainous with a stream flowing through it. The information inside the facility is well done, especially the “smelling” room where one can smell the different notes that color the various types of rum. We took a personal car tour with David which was absolutely worth the extra money. He was able to share details about the banana and sugar cane crops, as well as information about the manufacturing. My one criticism is that the rum products were really edited down. One can buy more JM varieties in the grocery store versus what one can buy at the distillery. Also, I would have loved if the tasting servers were a little more friendly, but we’ll chalk that up to my limited French and their limited English.
  • We visited in December 2017. There were some renovations going on. Location is fantastic between rainforest in a valley. Liked the red elements on pavement and on buildings. Very little info in english!
  • One of the best Rhum distillery in there island and a gorgeous place to visit, one of the best experience I had in the island,a must see.
  • One of the best rum distillery in Martinique
  • Beautiful distillery with visit and olfactory route. Nice quality. Possibility to visit the plantation (super interesting) in week Mon - Fri by appointment. Not to be missed
