#1 of 26 in Parks in Arrondissement of Le Marin
Swim, snorkel, and sunbathe at Anse Dufour, a small tropical paradise featuring skirting calm waters. Grab your snorkeling kit and head beneath the high-visibility turquoise and green water; you'll enjoy close encounters with graceful sea turtles. Alternatively, you can simply relax on the sand work on your tan. The beach, which is surrounded by shady tropical trees, has a little snack shack, as well as some restaurants and bars. • It's been a few years that we had not been in Martinique and when we wanted to spend a morning on the beach we not stayed long. The sea is still beautiful, and fish are always at the rendezvous, but 2 blackheads come to ruin this beautiful landscape. Indeed, the beach is victim of its success and now resembles a beach of the French resorts, it have to queue to get a small space to put our stuff and it's getting in the Sargasso, there is not bad in the water and they like ncent aground on the ends of the beach. Despite this Cove Dufour is still a very nice place.

  • Great beach and framework, Martinique what! Visit and enjoy the moment... Don't forget your masks and snorkels.

  • We had made great Cove thinking meet turtles but we had been disappointed because no turtle in sight 2 times where we had gone there. It's at anse Dufour we were able to realize our dream: swim with turtles! These were unforgettable and magical moments! You just watch where there is a group of divers and you can be sure that a turtle is in the vicinity! We went there in October so few tourists and it was easy to park but I think this must be the crush in high season because it is a small beach and there are few parking places (forced to park on the narrow road : impossible to pass two cars when cars are parked! ). But it is a definite must! We have breakfast "Chez Nini" directly on the beach. Snack unpretentious but for a small fee we ate a chicken from sauce dog excellent!

  • Nice beach, not toooo busy if you get there before midday. Visibility for snorkelling is pretty good, much better than anse noire. Saw a turtle!!! Very shallow.. Lots of fishes! Beware of stingers, theres a few and can be a bit of a surprise if you're not expecting it. Free parking if you can find a space!
  • Five stars for the opportunity to see green turtles, don't come to the beach without a snorkel gear! Sad however that many tourists does'nt follow the rules and respect the turtles privacy. Beside the snorkel, there is not much too it, the beach is small and I have seen better ones on the island. Resturants available, parking can sometimes be a nightmare.
  • Simply Wonderful. Warm enchanting beach and scenery.
  • Small beach, where you will find beautiful fish and turtles are good looking! Attentions to the microscopic jellyfish, which are like small electric shocks, tingling, however, do not last more than 10 min. parking difficult.

  • Tourists are many, it is quite difficult to park. Arriving, you discover a magical décor, exceptional seabed, there are thousands of small fish and especially turtles (a small, a medium and a huge). 3 approach to the beach about 2 meters of depth. Finding themselves in a dozen centimeters of the shell of a turtle we realize the chance we have, it's unreal and magical. The beach is not very shaded but it isn't disturbing because we spend all our time alongside the turtles, which must not be afraid of people because they remain for hours at their side.
