  • I don't understand the negative reviews. First, it is a very nice, extremely well maintained place. The gardens are particularly beautiful with many plant species including some trees centernaires breathtaking. Housing is superb; traditional and colonniale. Then visit with the audio guide was very informative. All finished with a superb tasting. Thanks, Mathieu V makes us benefit from his knowledge and who knew present the very wide range of rums according to our tastes. He was more interested to our stay and the way in which we perceive the Martinique. Really, a very good time. Thank you.

  • Due to the weather, we did that the shop. And it was extremely disappointing. One wonders if sellers who talk among themselves scoff at the customers. During the tasting, no explanation! Goal: sell. In short: zero!

  • In an idyllic setting (a great Park to route) to the discovery of the vegetation followed by the plunge in the history of the rum distillery Clément (with of splendid museum piece) to continue in modernism and finish with a tasting of quality products. A great visit to perform without worries

  • One of the greatest gems of the isle. The grounds are extremely well kept by a very diligent theme. The audio guide service which allows all guests to roam the natural areas and the factory, with detailed description of flora, fauna, history and rum manufacturing process is breathtaking. The modern art museum, where we just managed to get a last tour of the Africa Contemporary Art exhibition before it got changes was quite lucky. The only challenge we faced was that we were not allowed to test/taste all the flavors of rum in the shop :P
  • This distillery is the Disneyworld and the leader of the pack of the distilleries. It served the best end to end the experience, even with the crowds. First, it had the most in-depth view of the distillation mechanics with an intriguing movies. It was a bonus to walk into their barrel aging houses too. We enjoyed the sculpture garden at the start of the tour, but not as good as a tour through Balata. The gallery and art museum were nice extras. As expected, the tasting room was a zoo. Despite that, I found a very knowledgeable Clement expert who offered a comprehensive tasting experience. Final thought: get there early! There are many tours and cruise ship visitors, on top of the regular traffic.
  • Interesting walking tour and Rhum tasting at the end was really excellent.
  • Really impressive property. The sculpture art is really stand out and they have a lot of very impressive exhibitions as well as a charming tasting room. Well worth the visit.
  • Excellent overview of many aspects of the modern aspects of the Rhum industry as it evolved into it's current state. The 12 Euros are worth the complete package of a self guided tour coupled with an audio guide. The gardens, views, and old/new distillery are in some ways frozen in time. Interestingly it is as the site of a famous Franco-American summit with Presidents' Bush and Francois Mitterrand on 14 May 1991 after the first Gulf War. Yes, take time to enjoy all the sites, including the two air-conditioned art museums.
