  • We stopped passing and we wondered what it was, a small cottage colored in yellow and blue quite small. The site is degraded and we thought to a small hut of abandoned sale, we knew later that it was the home of the convict. There is nothing to see except the sea view.

  • You like history! Built in the 1960s, at the foot of Morne Larcher with backdrop of the sea of the Caribbean... and the rock of the Diamant.Cette cottage is due to the Médard ARIBOT, born ended in 1901.La legend tells that he would have been sent to hard labour for 'trivial' cause... This conviction of a very great severity resulted in his sending in Guyana as Bagnard.Il had a true gift for the arts, especially sculpture...

  • But that became the lodging of this convict, how did we have trashed at this point the work and memory of such a man?

  • It is a funny and colorful house. I don't know if someone could really live there but it's nice to see and also a perfect spot for blogger/instagrammer to take pictures.
