Une maison de poupée en bois ornementé, et peinte de couleurs vives, jouis... read more »It's the early 1960s Médard Aribot, former convict, built this curious little house at the foot of Morne Larcher. A doll house wooden ornate, and painted in bright colors, with a great view on the Caribbean Sea. In front, the diamond rock and the St. Lucia channel at left, kilometers of sand of the diamond Cove. The history of Médard is not trivial: he was reportedly sentenced to hard labour for carved, without his authorization, the head of the Colonel Coppens - effigy which was brandished during a riot during which the said Colonel found the dead in 1925. However his conviction comes only in 1933, formally for the rapine... Released during the final closure of the penal colony of Cayenne in 1945 he settled in Martinique. The visit lasts only a few minutes. But we are still struck by its size, particularly small... Hard to believe that Médard Aribot y lived 13 years!show original
It is a funny and colorful house. I don't know if someone could really live there but it's nice to see and also a perfect spot for blogger/instagrammer to take pictures.
