  • A large Hall, very high, architecture of steel, plenty of space for a pretty average, of the local fruits and vegetables in small quantity, production market vivriere rather than vegetable, is to make his meal, if not for clothes and other memories, when we to removed the made in China, still more great thing... You can also eat on the spot, but well, it's not really up to par, to say the least...

  • big e market under the halls of Fort de France is the market where all the colors, the scents and the most typical of Martinique blend. You will find all the fruits and exotic vegetables in the Caribbean, you will find many products and souvenirs to take back to your loved ones. All arrangements of rum and remedies are present. The beginning of the market is devoted to fruit and vegetables, then come displays arranged rums, jams, vanilla, wood... baskets, flowers and towards the bottom of the market some T-shirt and souvenir sellers. Note the presence of an (untested) restaurant in the halls. Do not hesitate to taste the products and especially accras when these are offered at the entrance to the market. For purists, further to the channel is located another all too typical market, but significantly less touristy, it is close to the fish market... PS I forgot a few blocks the meat market.
