  • Family distillery with free access visit cachet, there nothing has changed since the time apart from the staff. A real leap in the past (1906) by entering this distillery! We got a free tour of an employee (more passionate) it was very enriching! Then we got to the free tasting of the distillery, with the history of each rum. Staff warm, welcoming, ready to give you correct address if you ask him. In short, it is aptly named, is the distillery of the island to visit!

  • I am still dazzled the show just to see. Indeed I come out of the visit of the distillery the Favorite, in full operation: steam, the machines that spin, people at work, in short magic show, which is also free, unforgettable authentic souvenir, of time, stayed in its own juice, and the icing on the cake is the free tasting of different rums in the factory. Thanks for the warm hospitality of this friendly tasting.

  • We started our tour by the distillery in operation with his steam machine. Everything was very well explained and exciting. We then go to the shop where we tasted was rums of exception. We had has has a friendly waitress and who knew very well the products it sold. This rum distillery is one of our favorite gustatory and Visual among all the distillery of the island (we all did them). This distillery absolutely worth a visit for lovers of small family structures and authentic, far big factories has rums that thinks about the turnover!

  • One of the recent craft distilleries of Martinique. It is the only one to still possess a powered original steam machine by from bagasse of sugar cane crushing. It is a self-sufficient plant energy and an exceptional place to visit for tourists. Must See!

  • An excellent range of rum found at the distillery of the Favorite, rare distillery with the still independent hard distillery. The Earth is one - perhaps the - best old rum from Martinique. Note that it is possible to customize the plate of the bottle a small surcharge of €10: the most beautiful effect for gifts!

  • The Favorite is not just a small liquor business, is a still working perfectly, even with an old steam engine and, if you go between January and the end of may, when you can visit rum distilled (but seriously, walking in the middle of the distillery while it is running not as the others) and see live production of rum. You can even see the lady who hand seals the neck of bottles with sealing wax and paste the labels. The black bottle with box and black label for me is the best rum. Has a cost: 130 euros. I would advise you not to buy it at the distillery (is the only one in which they don't do discounts) but buy it at carrefour Genipà where you can find sometimes also on offer in 110 euros. If purchased at the distillery, I suggest you buy a shirt and then get a gift: offer (at least to me they did) two beautiful glasses. Personal advice: If you're in Martinique for a short time during the period when the distillery works and you are passionate about technology and engineering, go for it absolutely, otherwise privileged other distilleries, Clement (which actually now the part open to visitors is a museum with admission fee) or De Paz.
