  • Already initially background St Denis we searched for more than an hour of the start of the walk. It is not at all at the level of the plan. In fact we must climb up to the Red House. To find us in front of a panel of ban d access. With two children we preferred not to take any unnecessary risks. Morning galley.

  • We had to show our children this book but the storm Matthew has decided otherwise. The rains have weakened the slopes and the authorities prohibit access to the largest part of the channel. It will be his rehabilitation to browse it in its entirety. We went from the parking lot of the starting side of funds St. Denis, until the water intake. Must cross the small stream at the foot of the parking space and upstream of the channel to the dam. It takes about ten minutes walk. It is possible to swim at the foot of the small dam. The water is very nice and relaxing well.

  • too bad that this place was abandoned by the authorities, who do nothing to repair a tiny fraction deteriorate, unfortunately the months pass nothing gets done and this place is likely to deteriorate even more. You can go around and do this walk, only initially background St Denis and most of the Carbelt (road closed) it can be done. Don't forget to stop at the Red House (unfortunately closed on Monday when we went)
