  • We stayed at the Quaint hotel in Xewkija and this was the view we had every day. Sadly, I never got to go inside, but what a beautiful building from the outside.
  • The church is quite modern but wonderfully light and bright inside. The dome is absolutely huge. However this is nothing compared to the view from the top of the rotunda. This is accessed via a lift. ...  more »
  • It is curious, completely round, with a free minimuseo which in reality is a small impressive room and that it's worth to see, to go up to the dome by the roof they ask for a donation of 3 euros, has elevator, but to access the scenery there is to climb a few rungs, so it is not accessible for people with mobility problems. But no doubt the views that come from all over the island are worth.

  • It is a lovely church as it has alot of histroy to it and also has alot of diffrent sculptures that are very beautiful. You can even go up to the top of the church by paying €3 for the lift to take you up were you can see a very beautiful view. I recommend going
  • The church of St. John the Baptist. The guided tour with the priest was very friendly and informative. It's the biggest church in Gozo, it's huge compared to any of its surrounding buildings.
  • You can pay €3 per person to use the elevator to go up to the third floor of the church through the sculpture museum. You can walk around the rotunda and then use the 97 steps to go up to the church clocks and more up to the highest point of the church where is the 360 degrees viewpoint of the island.
  • Beautiful
  • A masterpiece in Maltese limestone and craftsmanship.
