  • Wow! We just stumbled upon this beauty while wondering around Valetta. On the square next to the Grandmaster's Palace, you'll see a statue of Queen Victoria. Behind her is the entrance to the Library....  read more »
  • As a lover of books and libraries, it was a wonderful experience. The visit is short, since some areas are reserved for researchers, but still worth it. At the entrance you have to deliver an identity document and leave the bags in the lockers. Too bad it is not possible to take photos or filming. Friendly and helpful staff. Check times before!

  • 馬爾他國立圖書館規模不大, 但是令人覺得有親切感, 當然是免費入館, 對馬耳他的一些歷史展覽 算是盡了一份心力了, 附近的武器展覽館較有可觀。 沒有時間可略過。
  • It is a library, and it is beautifully decaying and therefore worth a visit, if even for a few moments, particularly for those with an interest in WWII history. If you're a researcher though, it's not a very comfortable place to work, nor is it very quiet. But considering that it's pretty much the only library in town, and that it offers one a desk and free wifi, it's a good place to get some writing done.
  • Nice library of free admission. Above, you will find a small exhibition with old maps of the area of Valletta and some history about the area.
