  • Probably the best place to procure items, souvenirs and gifts from Malta. It is certainly to use especially for tourists, but at least the typical types of craft are maltese and the prices are competitive compared to shops that can be found around Valletta or the few who meet in the other towns of the island. Even the place where it is at least unusual, with various craftspeople (and merchants) located in big and small hangar with an area large enough, broken up by the RAF. We found it particularly nice watermarks and pottery that we purchased at discount prices. Not to be missed if you want to shop.

  • All is not necessarily as it seems and a lot appears mass produced rather than hand crafted in Malta.
  • Lovely little craft village located within the old huts and new buildings. Ideally located on the hop on hop off bus route, lots of local artisans displaying Maltese made food, jewellery and ceramic w...  more »

  • Thoroughly enjoyable experience! You'll be sure to spot something that tickles your fancy amongst the many refined pieces of colourful ceramics. In some shops, you can also observe the glassblowers in action! One drawback is the nature of the infrastructure between the various workshops - there is little shade and lack of quality outdoor furniture. Furthermore, the tarmac roads leave much to be desired in terms of pedestrian movement.
  • Some really good stores. Especially the one opposite the Cafe. Some really good local stuff in good prices
  • Interesting location. I bought beautiful small silver earrings for 8 euro! :) Some shops have the same products. Toilet is not free and very bad!
  • Great place to see a whole range of excellent crafts. Well worth the visit.
  • Very high Quality Crafts Made In Malta. Most shops you can view inside 360 Google Street View. They also export worldwide. Worth Visit.
