  • I was surprised when I heard that there is even a bird park in Malta. He was hard to find as it is signposted only in one direction - we came from the other. The first impression was positive, for children it is super! The cages were out very small, too small I think, but the birds looked good and had a good Constitution. Nevertheless, everyone had only a branch in the cage to sit and only a few had a box to retreat (what in the Interior struck me). The macaws were out very upset. Inside are more cages, a few animals sit outside, of course on a leash. Most cages were very small and the animals had no place, some no floor or design (branches, employment). Clearly facilitates the cleaning and is in some bird species that are by nature on the ground also necessary, because they can be otherwise sick and die. There are two or three larger enclosure that housed birds can fly. However, there too many animals are housed. The "Koi pond" was a single dirt stock, only if the fish to the surface floated has seen them... The owls were not happy. Otherwise the Park was nicely designed, very many species were represented. The Flamingo pond was very veralgt. Entrance 8 euros was ok. A friend of mine has even aviaries with South American parakeets and said that meant the accommodation was OK, however you should invest in more seat and retreats.

  • By coincidence how the bird park on Malta and him have visited also. Very large biodiversity for a relatively small area. According to unseerer this is somewhat small cages for birds. Plant made a very clean, well-kept Eiundruck - except for the totally dull small Koi pond and the veralgte Flamingo pool. Is worth a visit.
