  • Coming back from Valettty on the Mall, accidentally stumbled upon a small but well-kept and cosy udiviitel′no Park, loudly called Argotti Botanic Gardens here. Especially amazed at Cactus about 10 meters in height, a powerful mnogostvol′nomu Ficus tree (trunk looks like dinazavra body, whose head is hidden listvvoj), as well as the abundance of ... cats. Gardening in Malta-thing unusually difficult because of the rainy months 7-6 does not happen at all, in the summer of relentless Sun all burns. So to each kustočku (or separate flower!) a water tube.

  • Located at the Argotti gardens Floriana were defeated in the 18-th century as a private garden owned by Grand Master Pinto. A century later the gardens became a botanical. They grow a large variety of trees and shrubs from oak trees and oleanders to potted plants, especially cacti are well represented. In the gardens is also widely represented water-fountains, ponds, water towers. In the private part of the gardens grow both local and imported plants. Part of the Villa surrendered under a small garden Museum, which contains seeds, equipment for pressing plants, maps and records of breeding plants. There is also an exquisite Belvedere, built in 1741, which opened to the public during business hours. Argotti botanical gardens coordinates Argotti Botanical Gardens, Floriana, Malta
