  • Without a doubt, it is worth taking the bus from Mdina/Rabat for this restaurant! It is homemade, freshly and traditionally cooked with seasonal veggies. It is a must!  more »
  • I've visited this restaurant for the first time last December with a couple of friends who introduced us to this place. Food and service were great and the ambience was very homey. I have been craving...  more »

  • It was so-so. Everything is home brewed or home raised, which is really nice. But that doesn't mean their food tastes better. The portions were too big (half the food wasn't eaten by our group of 12) and while it was okay, it wasn't anything special and I wouldn't order it again. The food also took a very long time to arrive, one hour for starters, and another hour for the main course. We were there for about 3 hours, and it was pretty draining. The atmosphere is nice though.
  • The food was really good but the service was so poor that it ruined the whole experience. We waited for over 30 min to pay and before that once we finished the mains for over 30 minutes to get the dessert menu. We managed to lose our appetite. Even worse, locals got a better service. We are locals, too, just don't look so but it should not matter at all. Even though the food is good I don't recommend this place and will never come back.
  • Lovely authentic Maltese food. We ordered shared platter for starters, which included vegetables, beans, capers, and a whole host of various stuff. All very well presented and lovely tasting too. Main meals were the rabbit, layered beef, lasagne and pork shanks. All very well cooked and presented and reasonably priced too. Shop is lovely too with interesting food items to take away. Word of caution: The portion sizes are massive and we did have a fair bit of waste!! So, even share a meal with your partner, saving money and saving food.
  • Amazing service and farm fresh, local food. They also have amazing desserts. The rabbit is the best I've had.
  • Wow. Real food, single ingrediences are very tasteful, fresh and organic. Dishes are excellent. Tasteful interior. Really recommendable.
