  • We sought this place out as we wanted to see the underground tunnels, and were not disappointed. You go down there on your own and can take your time ( possibly because it was November). I understand ...  more »
  • The museum tour starts with a video and some audio that tells the historical and political situation of Malta in the 20th century. Interesting to see military equipment and war relics. Exciting walking in the air-raid tunnels. Would be more particular instead of being equipped with audio guides, tours with trained staff to which you can ask questions and make the visit more interesting for children.

  • A nice simple layout with lots to see and hear. The museum illustrates a summary of much of what happened during WW2 in Malta very well.
  • A truly wonderful museum with such interesting items on show, l could spend a week studying the exhibits. It made me realise and appreciate the hardship the people of Malta suffered, it was brought home to me very vividly when you saw exhibited the amount of food given for a month, which we would have consumed at one meal.
  • Great exhibition on WWII bombing of Malta, with good amount of memorabilia on display, a short film, and a section to walk in the war bunkers. Price €10. Audioguide free.

  • There are many great places. You can air-raid shelter, wearing a helmet, go. Like the humid where I lived so far away, and I think will be hard, but know about the war there, setting (Japan). I thought it is worth a visit!
