Categories: Military Museums, Museums
Get to know Malta's brave soldiers and strong defenders during the Blitz at Malta at War Museum. Set in the former home of the Royal Navy (a heavily bombed site during World War II), the museum displays a large, intense collection of artifacts and memorabilia. Watch an introductory wartime documentary before descending into an underground air raid shelter once used by hundreds. Continue on to view nine galleries, each illuminating a different aspect of Malta during the war. Displays include clothing, weapons, documents, instruments, and much more.
