  • This island was so wonderful. It was nice, peaceful, natural and more. There were friendly sharks around the jetty every evening and you can also jump to take picture with them. We really got a romant...  more »
  • Having just returned from a week's stay in the wonderful village of Alimatha. We travelled with a six years my wife and I. Starting from flight neos, very timely, although the seating is very tight and very little comfort. Many children and adults are unfortunately sick after 36/48 hours of arrival and this suggests little flight conditioning filters clean: all with the same symptoms coughing in some cases fever. Helpful, friendly and accommodating the village doctor. The village is very good, great attention to detail, the entertainers are very professional, discreet and I must say wonderful with children. Susi and Tina are truly special and make a difference. Well done! So as not to repeat the one written in the other reviews, I have to say that the strengths are definitely the beautiful sea, the wide Beach and secluded, the food always cared for and of high medium quality, discreetly bungalows are cleaned twice a day. We stayed in bungalow number 45 that I must say excellent choice as far as quietness and exposure. Diving trips and live up to the reputation and not particularly expensive. The only drawback if you can define are daytime snacks that include the same things: pizza sandwiches, biscuits and juice/water/drink. Actually include the coconut but is short and ends immediately. Even the opening of the beach bar is perhaps a little too low. I recommend everyone to take along the coral shoes, because the water is shallow and Sandy seabed despite is rich in fragments of dead coral. Best leisure during the day's snorkelling, canoeing, Windsurfing and catamaran sailing enthusiasts, there is available a Cat but surcharge. The weather was excellent for the duration of your stay and a constant temperature between 27 and 30°, never hot, never cold. Exceptional water. See you soon!

  • Never been on the island but did again a night dive on the house reef. They have been feeding fish over the years (still do?) so it's a unique opportunity to dive between lots of nurse sharks and rays...  more »
