Tsunami Monument honors the victims of a 2004 tsunami that claimed the lives of more than 100 people, destroyed countless buildings, and left nearly two-thirds of Male flooded in the aftermath. The spiraling monument stands on the edge of the sea in memory of those who were affected by the tragedy. Ponder the incredible power of nature as you look out over the sobering memorial and the waters beyond.
