Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque, Tanjung Bungah

(70+ reviews on the web)
Featuring seven-storey-high towering minarets and panoramic views of the sea, Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque is a wonder of Moorish architecture. The impression of floating is achieved with numerous supporting pillars, sunk deep into the seabed and visible during low tide. Built in 2004, the current building replaced an older mosque damaged in the tsunami. The building is especially lovely in the evenings, when artificial lights reflect in the water.
