Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque, Tanjung Bungah

3.8
#2 of 7 in Things to do in Tanjung Bungah
Featuring seven-storey-high towering minarets and panoramic views of the sea, Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque is a wonder of Moorish architecture. The impression of floating is achieved with numerous supporting pillars, sunk deep into the seabed and visible during low tide. Built in 2004, the current building replaced an older mosque damaged in the tsunami. The building is especially lovely in the evenings, when artificial lights reflect in the water. • Masjid is located exact on the corner of theain bay. Built on pillars.
  • There's no air conditioner like the State Mosque but there fan there could cool yourself. It is a simple mosque. There is 2 vending machines which are the coffee and the can drink.Limited parking since everyone come here to pray. You could come here and take picture of the sea or the skyline full with luxury condominiums.
  • This mosque is built overwater on stilt. part of the mosque is on land including mosque grounds. There is small free car park. The view is very beautiful.
