We got a taxi from Taiping to the Forest for 25 RM. We did the boardwalk, which costs 15 RM, but there was not so much to see. The trees were beautiful though and the shade was welcome! At the end of ...  more »

Its a best place to check it out during morning or evening especially if you're enjoy a long distance walk and calm environment. We made a mistake of coming here during noon (It was hot but luckily there were lot of trees shaded the path). The place is gorgeous for a nature lover but it was a bit of a run down. Please be extra careful while walking using the path as some of the woods went missing.

This place is a must for nature lovers. Its a mangrove forest with a walkaway for exploration. But bear in mind, the exit might not be the same as the entrance. We had to walk in the hot sun back to where we parked. Still, it was worth the walk as the place is beautiful and well maintained. Best visited during the morning or evening. We visited during the afternoon as it was the only time available for us so it was hot in some places where there were no shades. The ticket prices are RM5.00 per adult & RM3.00 for warga emas.

A very nicely preserved mangrove educational Center. Worth visiting for nature recreation purpose Tips: make sure to wear the mosquito repellent before going there

A good place to find balance with nature. Quiet and serene. Overall, Kuala Sepetang has a lot of potentials to attract tourist. Need to promote more on the boat ride, eagle and firefly watch.

One of the mangrove reserve available in Malaysia. You can walk on the wooden walkaway through mangrove forest. There are chalet available, but not sure about its condition. You can take a ride by boat along the river there to see fisherman village, firefly and red eagle habitat nearby. If you lucky, you may find river dolphin too, said the boat driver.
