Where to stay in Sibu

Most hotels in Sibu sit in the city center, granting easy access to major parks and the indoor market; if you stay in the middle of town, sightseeing will be a snap. Do not expect luxury suites, however, and if you want a guaranteed quality room, aim for midrange accommodations. For budget-minded travelers, Sibu offers a handful of options. Just remember you get what you pay for, and the least expensive rooms are likely run-down and not too clean.

  • Well, from the outside it looks kinda scary. It's now surrounded by a pool of water making it kinda like a 'floating hospital/museum'. Worth a visit as this was one of the oldest hospital and now it's been converted into a museum.
  • One goes here for one reason: it's unique... REALLY unique! Indeed, where else have you ever seen a museum with a sexy mannequin about to conduct a hypothetical operation? For that alone it's worth a visit!
  • A nostalgia hospital which lots of sibu people borned at. Been revamped into a museum as for now.
  • Historical heritage building
