  • I've read Agnes Keith's book the "Land Below The Wind" and when I actually saw this house (restored by the Sabah Government in 2002), all the characters in the book began to play in my head. The resto...  more »

  • The place is quiet and it's sad to see some of the amenities were not maintained. You'll be charged if you wish to enter the house and a good checklist when you are visiting Sandakan.
  • Well kept for the most part but I doubt all these relics inside the house are original. RM15 entrance fees for foreigners is way too expensive! If it weren't because Agnes and George came here a decade ago and did their works, Sabah's description on the map would not have been articulated so eloquently. Simply because your English sucks! Now you take the advantage of the remains of some foreigners' asset to make money from other foreigners. So much of the mumbo jumbo BS about tourism in Sabah.
  • I love history. This is a must visit place in Sandakan .. :)
  • Historical place. Not much things to be explore.
  • I love this house.....
