Best amusement park in Malaysia. Lot of attractions. There is something for everyone. For kids, there are water parks, merry go around, etc. For teenagers there are roller coasters, flying fox, bungee jump etc. For seniors there is Malaysia's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge, wildlife park and more. One day is not enough to cover everything.
A great hang out place with your friends or family. Please do remember to not using jeans(short or long) you can't play anything in here, like my sister. Have a lot of choices for restaurant and cafe too. So many people around my age who pushed in when you're queueing so don't be so surprised.
We visited sunway lagoon on 7th may 2016. It was truly a wonderful experience . We enjoyed the rides and wild life. But the highlight of the day was the how we were treated by the staff of sunway. After the fun and frolic in the other 3 theme parks we had a great time in the afternoon in the water park. By 5.30 pm it started to rain and our family , fairly large, took refuge near the locker rooms to escape the rain. It was only later we realised that the innocuous rain had transformed into a thunderstorm. We were stranded in the locker room for 2 hours. Since we had 5 children aged between 6& 10 it was impossible for us to reach the nearest roofed walkway. The rain had turned menacing with deafening thunders. It was around 7.30 pm by which time it was dark and the rains were getting worse. The place had gone desolate. The locker room operator tried hard to contact the main station to provide us conveyance but due to the heavy rain the signal on the walky talky was down. We were getting nervous as our taxi driver was getting impatient and losing him would get us stranded in the unfamiliar city. Suddenly the locker operator Mrs Malathy showed great determination and courage and braved the rain and took us one by one . Armed with only an umbrella she was fully drenched by the time she led the last one of us in the group to the safe location which was around 1/2 a km away. It was puerile of one of us of having offered a tip to this Good Samaritan ; but she gracefully refused it with a smile. I thank you sunway for the all the wonderful memories and applause to the team for having such committed and responsible staff!
Can spend a whole day having fun here. Really love the wrist tag system where you don't need to carry cash around. For convenience, just load money onto your wrist tag upon purchasing your ticket and you can buy food/drinks in the park by letting vendor beep on your tag to deduct the amount necessary. Any unused money can be refunded at the ticket counter after you exit. Purchase the ticket online for lower rate (foreigners can get the same rate as locals by doing so). You are not allowed to bring in your own food. They check your bags (haphazardly) at entrance. The food within the theme park are mostly burgers, sandwiches & other fast food chains and snacks. If you forgotten to bring sunscreen lotion, swimsuit, a floatie for yr kid, or any toiletries, there's a shop selling swimgears and toiletries at the water themepark.

A very fun place to hang out and play with your friends. What I really like about this places is it's water park. Had alot of fun there although I don't know how clean the pool is as anyone(especially kids) can sneakily pee in it.
