Per mancanza di tempo non abbiamo fatto l'escursione ai pinnacoli, ma abbiamo percorso tutti gli altri sentieri visitabili autonomamente: semplicemente fantastici. Tra i parchi che abbiamo visitato ne... read more »Due to lack of time we did the trip to pinnacles, but we covered all the other paths can be visited independently: just great. Among the parks we visited in Borneo was definitely the nicest. The night tour was not particularly exciting, as we saw a few bugs, as well as the hike on Tibetan bridge.show original
Al di là dei Pinnacles in se che sono molto belli, ci tengo a fare alcune considerazioni per me importanti. La pecca più grossa è che agli uffici del parco nessuno ti prepara esattamente a quello che ... read more »Beyond the Pinnacles itself which are very beautiful, I really want to make some considerations for me important. The biggest flaw is that the Park's offices no one prepares you to exactly what you'll find. Given that we're two people young and trained, on balance the hike is demanding: it starts with 9 km basically plans to go from where you get off the boat at base camp. The guide shows you the way is you forget you, you will find upon arrival. Then all dorms open from 20 people, very impressive but expect the usual uncivilized who think they're in a private room and that at 5 am unfailingly there will wake up as they prepare for the climb. The next day, then, we rise to the Pinnacles. Only here will tell you what to really expect. The route is divided into 4 stages, two of which must be achieved within a certain time limit or else you will be forced to go back because you wouldn't have the time to get to the top and go down. The first stage, to be met by 50-55 mini Pinnacles minutes before departure (6:30 hours) and first to reach 3 1/2 hours before departure. If you don't do you go back and waste of money. The leadership, again, part with you and you forget completely that you are your responsibility. The will end up on arrival. To the Pinnacles, stop up to an hour and then it comes back. Believe will tell you that the climb is very, very hard (the average gradient is between 45 and 60 degrees with 90 strokes ... almost always have to use your hands) but the descent is even worse. Don't get it wrong. In essence the fatigue is what you'll see at the top but be prepared for substantial physical effort, the night we were exhausted! The day after a further 9 km to return and then all go home. I would add that once you arrive at base camp, if you haven't got the package with an external agency, remember that you must take everything. And with everything I mean: from food to oil for cooking, washing up liquid, to toilet paper in addition to your food rations (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners). Small detail, inside and outside the park there is nothing outside of two mini markets definitely not provided. The only things to eat that you will find will be canned goods (with minimal choice) and cookies. Forget fruits and vegetables. One solution is to visit the restaurant of the park where you can buy carrots and potatoes, a lunch box and rice to be cooked or refuel before arriving at Mulu. Recommended, but consider your physical condition before you choose to go.show original
