  • built without nails, the 80-year-old daughter of the House leads with love through the House and explains details about the history of the House and the entire community. Admission is free, a small donation 20RM P.p.. it is absolutely value. Experience and feel the history of over 100 years in this House. The House is worth a visit. With the river tour come exactly in the 300 degree curve over to the Swiss Garden is complex.

  • More than a Museum, this House is still inhabited by a Malaysian family. It is one of the family members who visit and tells you more about parts and various exhibits. After the visit, friendly discussion with the person who is very interested in what we're doing. I recommend doing the ride on the banks to go which is very nice.

  • Super kind family giving tours of traditional Malaysian houses. Oh, and it's free. (Donations, of course, is deserved and worth it)
  • Only passing by while I was at Melacca. Catch nice poto-spot around the area.
  • Happy to see that heritage is being preserved in Malaka.

Where to stay in Melaka

Luxury hotels in opulent buildings frequently sit right alongside budget accommodations in Melaka. Side streets and alleyways offer secluded rooms in attractive buildings that are often as grandiose as regal hotels. For budget lodgings, look for the main arterial roads, which lack the charm of the rest of the town, but provide comfortable rooms at reduced rates.
