  • Dutch walk aimlessly in the square without thinking other people went up along the ... As it turned out, it was here ... I accidentally met a treasure ... 5-10 minutes to take the stairs, because the hot weather has been covered with sweat from the arrival point with panoramic views, access to dissolve the Malacca minded going to sweat the refreshing. On a hill en Netherlands (? yeonggugil), bombing of shell and the Church monument, only the right hand is destroyed the statue of Deng so not sure why but placed Morris (?) Has lagged. Dutch square just near this once try to climb up.

  • From Melaka Sultanate Palace, I walked in the scorching weather to climb the steep steps . Honestly, I really didn't know where I was heading, just blindly followed the rest in front of me to reach the hill top. Beautiful view standing there, overlooking the city and coastline of Malacca. Catching my breath, I then walked around to see the broad spectrum of the whole area, including the ruins of more than 150 years and ancient tomb of St Francis Xavier. Very interesting place. Won't mind returning again.
  • This is how an ancient monument/building suppose to feel like. Old, eerie and sad. Even in the afternoon i still feel quite uneasy. But not in a bad way thou. You can buy some painting if you like, from Daniel especially. Need some efforts to reach here. A short climb i would say. You can buy some coins, notes, or stamps on the way here 😬
  • Best historical ruin i ve ever been. The atmosphere there is just wonderful. No rooftop, allow the blue sky can be seen indoor. The light shine on this church, make the building alive
  • A must visit when coming to Melaka. It's a short climb up from the A Famosa. Go around the St Paul's church remains and you get different views of Melaka from on top of the hill. In the area where the sanctuary used to be, there is fenced off tomb where people throw in coins and make a wish. And there is an old statue of St Francis Xavier outside of the church. Plenty of handicraft vendors all around. Must visit.
  • This place was best place in Malacca city. I liked smell of here. I loved the sunset mood in here. I admired the comfortable sitting the door&inside of here.

Where to stay in Melaka

Luxury hotels in opulent buildings frequently sit right alongside budget accommodations in Melaka. Side streets and alleyways offer secluded rooms in attractive buildings that are often as grandiose as regal hotels. For budget lodgings, look for the main arterial roads, which lack the charm of the rest of the town, but provide comfortable rooms at reduced rates.
