Where to stay in Melaka

Luxury hotels in opulent buildings frequently sit right alongside budget accommodations in Melaka. Side streets and alleyways offer secluded rooms in attractive buildings that are often as grandiose as regal hotels. For budget lodgings, look for the main arterial roads, which lack the charm of the rest of the town, but provide comfortable rooms at reduced rates.

  • Heard so much about this place from my friends with small children. So this place is a must for our Malacca trip. Mamee Jonker House was not very big but it was just right for a family outing. My chil...  more »
  • First time to visit this place. Nice and cool place to get away from the heat. Staff is friendly. Not much choice of food but ok.  more »
  • If you're not familiar with the products, give this place a miss. The activities and displays are targeted at a very young audience. Despite loving the snack, both my 13 & 9 year olds were not attract...  more »

  • The FIVE STAR review goes to the Mamee experience where we got to try our hands on making our own childhood snack. For RM 20 you get to roll your own dough, design your own snack wrapper and get a goodie bag with Mamee snacks. What more can we ask for? Oh... yes. open the museum up to public, its a better brand building experience than charging and leave customers disappointed. Museum was disappointing and really not worth the ticket price (lost 1 star for that).
  • Fun for kids. They workshop that is fun. And thinking back don't we love mamee as kids and even now..
  • great experience here. special chicken rice to eat and get opportunity to make custom made mamee instant noodle.
  • Nice theme. They even have mamee making workshop for kids upstairs. Food is ok though for a theme restaurant.
  • Happens to walk pass by. Never thought that would find a place like this in Jonker! I mean, WOW! U can find various Mamee's souvenirs, cafè, and workshop for kids, good for family. Unique and well renovated.
