Chinatown - Melaka, Melaka
(3.2/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
Walk the streets of an old district of the historical town at Chinatown - Melaka. The well-preserved Chinese architecture complements the bustling and thriving atmosphere of the main street. Stop into a restaurant to enjoy some authentically Chinese cuisine and listen the hum of the shoppers passing by, then head into the main commercial area yourself to try your hand at haggling for trinkets, souvenirs, and oddities from across the globe. The temples and clan houses present some of the best-preserved architecture here: scope them out down the small alleys that lead off from the main thoroughfares. • Disappointed that there was nothing really exciting in Chinatown. Probably because this is a mainly Peranakan Area.
  • It will be nice if you put up a night or two in this so called "Chinatown", as a matter of fact, it is just next to lots of the famous attraction including Jonker walk, the red house, church, chumg hw...  more »
  • It is so nice to go round China town. My little one loved it. We walked and we went on a trishaw. There are nice places to eat, friendly people and some lovely temples.
