  • A beautiful well maintained Chinese temple with 400 yrs of history. The carvings on the wall and the drawings of the doors are with purpose and are delicate. It allows for burning of incense.

  • Also known as Kwan Yin Teng, the Goddess of Mercy - Malaysia's oldest temple. It was built by the Chinese Kapitan Tay Kie Ki in the 1600s. The temple was incorporated in Parliment in 1949 by Tun Dato Tan Cheng Lock and, a board of trustees was formed.
  • nice temple and cemetery a must see but be aware it closes at night.
  • Cheng Hoon Teng, one of the oldest Chinese temples in Malaysia, is a outstanding historical architecture in the Jonker Walk area. The architecture is quite unique as you can see the Nanyang style design where you may not find in Mainland China.
