  • From langkawi to the pier then the ferry ride takes around 3-4 hours one way. You get around 3 hours at the reef platform. So the time spent there may not be worth the transport time. The reef platfor...  more »
  • Avoid during the Chinese new year! Too many people in the water where tourists throw bread to the fish. Water is murky and does not allow to see the coral. We had taken the option platform with access to the beach by small boat or swimming. For diving, nothing fancy but we recommend Zamree Ben at Big Brother Dive Center, very professional if you need to pass your PADI.

  • We booked this trip via Beryaja resort. I would have expected that the Beryaja responsible would have warned us for this extremely disappointing trip. The bus drive and ferry took 3,5 hours, the bus s...  more »

  • Beautiful scenery and clear water which houses plenty of colorful fishes and baby sharks. We took lots of great photos there. Sadly , the corals there are mostly dead and bleached . 20 years ago, this place was awesome! The snorkels equipment might not work well for some, kept drinking sea water... Other than that, the infrastructure is poor, with toilets without doors and tap water. The wooden bridge along the beach is breaking down... Maintainance is very bad... Sad.. The food provided was not delicious.
  • I would give it a okay-score for this place compare to the marine park in Redang. Sea water is pretty clear with fishes. I went with one of the package offer by Coral Island - RM 150, include of hotel transfer, packed lunch (don't expect too much on the food, I reckon to BYO), ferry ticket, goggles, life jackets and entrance for marine park. Full of rocks and corals, have to swim to further to check out the sea creatires. Btw, I saw baby sharks!
  • Sangat indah
  • First Experience of snorkeling. Nice!
  • Best place to learn snorkeling. But not for those who has already experience :)
