Where to stay in Langkawi

Langkawi Island offers by far the greatest number of accommodation optionsĀ out of all 104 isles in the archipelago. Look for affordable and comfortable rooms in Kuah and the southwestern peninsula, where inexpensive hotels, hostels, and rental apartments draw many budget visitors. For a luxury experience, head to the surrounding islands, where private resorts charge high prices for more amenities and larger rooms.

  • Gorgeous motorbike ride out and very beautiful pieces. Very nice staff. At 150 ringgit for a men's shirt they are pricey compared to what you get by the mall for 50, but you get what you pay for. This is locally made, high quality work. They showed me the workshop too and explained the process of how they make it. I hope to visit again someday.
  • Wide variety, but pricey.
  • lovely fabrics, but the food in the restaurant opposite is even better.
