Art In Paradise, Langkawi

4.5
#1 of 7 in Museums in Langkawi
One of the largest 3D art museums in the world, Art In Paradise feels more like a playground than an art gallery, inviting visitors to create their own customized exhibits. Divided into different zones--optical illusions zone, safari, and aquarium, to name a few--the museum features internationally renowned artists and Malaysia's biggest painting. You can travel through time and visit ancient Egypt or medieval Europe, or step inside replicas of classic masterpieces. Don't forget to bring your camera with enough memory space--by the end of your visit, you'll acquire quite an artistic collection of your own. • Nice place for family. Beautiful view at top of Mount Machinchang. Kids love 3D art museum, takes many photos with funny poses.
  • It started with some boring and usual art facts, but then it just escalated. Make sure to bring a fully charged camera with lots of space and pics to capture in. Creative art which just makes up for your day in Langkawi. Laser Show was cherry on the cake!
  • My friends and i enjoyed every 3D arts here but be prepared because this place is overcrowded with people. Our mistake was that we went here during weekend. Be patient over certain people who will cut your queue of taking a picture (no manners at all) and kids running around when your camera is clicking (a lot of my photos got ruined because of them).
  • Awesome creative 3D art that blows away your mind. Must stand at the right capture pint to enjoy the right perspective though.
  • No staff to help you take pictures or pose, and its extremely crowded. The place was fine but if you get the chance try going to the 3d museum in penang which has higher quality art.

Where to stay in Langkawi

Langkawi Island offers by far the greatest number of accommodation options out of all 104 isles in the archipelago. Look for affordable and comfortable rooms in Kuah and the southwestern peninsula, where inexpensive hotels, hostels, and rental apartments draw many budget visitors. For a luxury experience, head to the surrounding islands, where private resorts charge high prices for more amenities and larger rooms.
