Layang-layang Beach, Labuan Island

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
3.7/5 based on 25+ reviews on the web
Quiet and peaceful Layang-layang Beach was the site of a major World War II battle between the Allied and Japanese troops. Since seaweeds cover the seabed, the water is murky and not suitable for diving or swimming, but you can stroll on soft sand and look for seashells, play sports, or catch a banana boat ride. Nearby points of interest include Peace Park and Surrender Point, built by the Japanese to honor soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war. The park features a beachside jogging track and food stalls selling satay (peanut sauce). • 这里的海滩风景优美,沙滩还不错,沙也挺细的,绵延好几公里,平时来这里的人并不多,观看日落非常不错的地方,不过沙滩上还是能看到不少的垃圾。
  • Amazing view during sunset . Really enjòy it . Worth waiting for sunset period. To have a good view ..suitable time from 530 pm to 630 pm
  • Nice beach for sunset spot. Have few food stalls selling satay & coconuts juice. Suitable for family and couples walking around the beach.
