  • The place has pretty much most of the popular brands you can think of. The first floor is of mostly branded designer shops such as high boss, Armani, etc. The second floor is more mainstream or sports brands, such as Nike, Adidas, and New balances. Different stores have even further discount at different times. For example, we got a voucher that is for an additional 30% off out of discount prices. A pair of shoes marked for RM129 from RM439 RSP will be less than RM 100 at the end. It is definitely heave for either hardcore or leisure shopping! Dining or snacking options are rather limited though. The food court carries different cuisine and fast food chains such as Mary Browns and Subway, but other stores do not have the food authenticity people look for in Malaysia food. The restaurant options are either (expensive, high end) Japanese, Thai, Chinese (soup) or Western. The place is also outskirts that it takes a long drive to nearby heartland for decent food. Parking is RM3 per entry.
  • Visited the SWATCH outlet at Johore Premium Outlets. Was surprised that they have many items at 70% to 50% discount from original sale price. Note that they are all off season models, but they still retain the very good quality and unique style one can expect from Swatch. In addition, Swatch has just introduced a free battery replacement program, which even makes buying these watches more attractively. But I don't know how long this will last.
  • One of south East Asia's renowned Premium Outlets - the place that provides luxurious fashion boutiques to home d├ęcor and many more. A mecca for those who 'shop till they drop' and for those who enjoy a leisurely stroll around the glamorous promenade with both family and friends. The parking area is spacious and the environment is relatively clean. However, toilets can still be improved; needs to have more janitors to maintain the cleanliness of the vicinity. The prayer room (Musolla) is quite small and rather crowded. Probably due to its venue, which is located within the food court. Overall, it's a place for the locals and foreigners alike, who yearns to be among auspicious brands and surround themselves in this contemporary yet chic shopping getaway.
  • One of the best premium outlet in Malaysia, many branded goods can be found here. However, there are several cons for me. 1) not much restaurants/ food court can be found here. Choices of foods are limited. 2) the outlet should contribute some entertainment place for the gentlemen/ children who have nothing to do here. May consider to set up a library for them to spend their time here. 3) should have more benches or air-conditioned resting area / Wi-Fi zone. Overall it's really good for those who really wanted to shop for branded stuff. Sometimes can found the huge marked down goods here.
  • Awesome place to buy branded items for half the price and be sure to go there in the season's sale period as the prices are dirty cheap! (New year sale is the best) The facilities are pretty good equipped with escalator, lift and definitely disabled people friendly. The shops layout is highly suitable for leisure shopping and easy to understand. Great place to shop in short.

Where to stay in Kulai

Kulai doesn't attract many tourists, so its accommodations remain relatively underdeveloped and mostly consist of budget rooms. If you go for the least expensive hotel, be sure to check the room before paying to avoid poorly maintained facilities. For the sake of convenience, look for rooms near the train station in the center of town, within walking distance of the bus terminal.
