#1 of 6 in Things to do in Kudat
Visit Tip of Borneo for priceless views of two seas. The northernmost point of Borneo, this spot marks the meeting point of the South China Sea and Sulu Sea. In this location a famous battle occurred between the ethnic people of the island and Moro pirates. Climb down stone steps to the very edge of the tip to hear the sound of the mighty waves crashing and the wind blowing. • It's always nice to visit lands end in any country and this place is no exception.. Absolutely stunning but totally off the beaten track to say the least. The roads in this area are poor but totally worth It just allow extra time. The views are amazing and so are the beaches I just wish they were cleaner, a lot of litter hopefully the government turns this area in to a tourist attraction and area of natural beauty as it has a lot of potential but seems forgotten about.. We really enjoyed it anyway.
  • It's a nice place to visit, and it could be even better if the roads were well made. If you come here, I'd advise checking the weather to avoid bad weather. The beach is fine, but you may find some trash here and there. It's a nice place to have picnics and maybe an overnight stay for family and friends. But there's only the beach and the actual tip of Borneo so there isn't much to do around.
  • We nearly forgotten that we must visit the Tip of Borneo since we are in Kudat and stay at NineHut on A Hill at Jalan Pantai Bak Bak. 20 minutes drive from Pantai BakBak. Driving pass the greens and palm oil and kampung. Signboard are scarce but luckily have waze easy to identify the turn. One of the Most beautiful spot on earth. The sea are rougher but have beautiful beaches and number of nice resort for stay. Most scenic tourism spot. Spectacular View. Love it. Shall come back again for sure and stay for 1 or 2 night.
  • totally a very hot walkway to walk at. But worth the walk. Great scenery. U can choose to stay at tsm merrimas villa as it was a 3mnt drive only.
  • Depending on the weather, this place can get really, really hot sometimes between 9 am until late afternoon. Don't forget to bring along sunscreen, sunglasses or umbrella to shield yourself from the hot searing sun when visiting here. Bring lots of drinking water too!
