Annah Rais Hotsprings, Kuching
(2.8/5 based on 25+ reviews on the web)
Take a soak at Annah Rais Hotsprings, naturally warmed waters that have been made into sculpted pools by the local community. An off-the-beaten-track natural attraction, this area of the forest is peaceful and sensitively cared for, and the geothermal centerpiece is well worth the hour drive from Kuching. Pay attention to the advice on the signs as you enter, with advisory limits on how long to spend in the pools at a time. Bring your own food and water to the site, as the only refreshments available are soft drinks at the entrance. Use our Kuching vacation route planner to add Annah Rais Hotsprings and other attractions to your Kuching vacation plans.

  • A small hot spring which is nice in the River, but to take admission, I find borderline. At 30 degrees, you will remain no 2 minutes in there because it is too hot. Money is not worth it I think.

  • accessed by going down a track and for pools you have to wade the river, hard to reach for less active, pools ok but scummy, interesting to see.
