  • Stopped by for a prayer. Very comfortable and the facilities were adequate. There's a vending machine for drinks. There's a stretch of market selling food, clothes, bags, and other things at the beach...  more »
  • Average looking mosque, but it does look to be 'floating' from a distance. Fishes can be fed around the lagoon. Mughal architecture can be seen within the mosque. There's a 'hop on' bus available at s...  more »
  • Lovely mosque which is dubbed a floating mosque due to its location in the middle of a lagoon. Nice backdrop for group photos or selfies. The mosque itself is rather small and not very well maintained...  more »

  • There is a huge park around it and one can come and have a pre prepared bar b q here with beautified mosque infront on the lake.
  • One of the rarest floating masjid
  • The beautiful mosque
  • The Floating Mosque - Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, Kuala Terengganu Built on concrete stilts in a man-made lake that flows into the Ibai River in Kuala Terengganu is a beautiful and modern mosque. The Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque was completed in 1994, commissioned by the late Sultan Mahmud AI Muktafi Billah Shah in memory of his late mother, Tengku Tengah Zaharah, the queen mother. The water of Ibai River rises during high tide to hide the foundation and thus, creating an illusion of a floating mosque.
  • Friendly environment to bring kids for prayer.
