  • Spent several hours in the museum, admiring the grand architecture and the interesting exhibits. Since the place is huge, more benches could be provided.

  • I never knew that Terengganu has produced so many excellent athletes such as Azizulhasni Awang. And the museum has different parts of theme like sciences, athletes, history. It was such a fun...

  • Literally one the best part and destination in Terengganu. A must visit place!! Entry fee is very affordable not to mention the magnanimous palace, very majestic from the outside. The inside is full with historical items from Royal textiles to Funeral Exhibition that is very informative and eye-opening. However it’s a bit inaccessible towards less-fortunate kind as there’s a lot of stairs without any ramps or facilities for the disabled. Other that that, I’m hooked!
  • there's no flow or guide where you are supposed to go, making it hard to navigate through the item, a lot of the exhibit area are empty the surrounding are nice and some of the information provided is new for me and I have not read about it from any museum before, and the entry fee is quite cheap for me. the surrounding is also beautiful.
  • The largest museum in South East Asia, and a paradise for history lovers. Uncomparable to other museums, there are lots of historical things to be explored here, make sure to fill up you tummy, you will be walking a lot in here. Suitable for energetic person, however, wheelchair is provided for the old folks. Most common mistakes visitors are doing is only exploring the main gallery and the blocks attached to it. Outside of the main gallery, there are artistic and jaw dropping traditional Terengganu houses, and a castle of Tengku Long. There are two huge ships originally belonged to great local seafarers, then donated to the museum and being displayed near the jetty. You can take the stairs and be on the ship. Enjoy the tropical views with birds tweeting and lots of green tress scenery, together with windy environment if you come during windy time. Various traditional boats and a fisherman house are displayed there. It is best to come with companies so that you will be braver to explore the blocks, when it is too quiet, things will get creepy and goose-bumpy although it is open only during daytime. I’ve captured several 360 degrees photos (virtual tour), so find it in the 360 degrees view section to have an overview of the place. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and enjoyed my visit here. I give five stars.
  • If you're young n energetic, you can choose to visit this museum.. to buy ticket, we have to take high stair, and and I brought my father there, and he's a senior citizen, he can only walked only one section of the museum.. so not recommended for old n senior citizen..
  • Visit only if you have time to waste. The building is pretty. The artifacts inside are mostly poor replicas. Artifacts Information display is sufficient. There are open air displays outside such as houses and boats.
