The Kuala Selangor Nature Park is a park located by the mouth of Selangor River in Kuala Selangor District, Selangor, Malaysia. • Went 2 times, but in fact look nice and impressive. Depending on where to stay in Kuala Lumpur there was with the children, but by all means if there is a chance to appreciate the value and the route start at 16, watching the sunset after arrival at dinner 18:00 dark wait. There are wild monkeys are lucky. Mosquito bites have spray aboard the Board, enjoy. There was no seasickness on board. We recommend sitting on the right side

  • The place is cool but there are many monkeys. And they tell us to walk a lot. That's all. But the place is nice. I suggest for foreigners.
  • I am previledged that I was born and raised in this beautiful Kuala Selangor town. The park is just a walking distance from my parents house ☺ Kuala Selangor Nature Park or known as Taman Alam Kuala Selangor is a mangrove reserved forest which covers over 200 hectares of coastal land (west peninsular Malaysia facing Straits of Malacca sea) where a large part of it is mangrove swamps. Mangrove is a tropical tree species where it grows in swamps or shallow salt water areas. It's unique roots grows from its branches towards the swampy soil at the base of the tree. Typically, mangrove forests are prefered habitat for varieties of fishes, crabs, shrimps and mollusk species (species that have a soft body without a backbone and that usually live in a shell such as snails and clams). This nature park is managed by Malaysian Nature Society on behalf of Selangor state government since it's establishment by the state government in year 1987. Accommodation facilities which available in this park are A-frame huts, chalets, dormitories and a hostel for large group of people. For campers, designated camping site is available upon advance booking. It's varieties of unique faunas and floras attracts researchers, photographers and nature novice from local and international. A place which should not be missed! 😉
  • Spent almost 2 hours strolling through the whole park. One of the best spot to get lost with nature. There is a boardwalk in the middle of mangroves 'jungle', if you are lucky you can spot various birds and monkeys. Most importantly, don't forget to apply mosquito repellent.
  • Got swarmed by mosquitoes. Too many mozzies. The camping area is ok with facilities; but the trails are just not worthy for any nature sightseeing. Not suggesting for infant, kids visits. Mosquito infested ground. It's like swarm of 30 mozzies waiting to land on you whenever you stop walking. Yes, thirty.. it's that many. Everytime you stop walking. Never seen that many myself before this.
  • Good experience on nature and tropical rain forest for the novice. Enjoy walking with family. Plan to spend one night in the chalet when the time permits.
