Gardens mid Valley megamall counterpart is more luxury brand boutiques lined and is hiso. Megamall not badly crowded a little relaxed as can be. To the Chair of the 座retari easier. If you exhausted at the Mega-mall, fled here.show original

Banh Mi so crispy u wil hav crumbs all over when u finish!
Still my favourite mall. The anchor is Isetan and Robinson. Few good restaurants there and attached with the Garden hotel too. Walking across via Link bridge u will get to midvalley. Anchor tenant is Jusco and Metrojaya. Jusco just newly renovated. I like their food court and grocery area. Very convenient mall to do everything you need.

This is the luxury side of the mid valley megamall. The mall itself was very nice looking. inside there are some restaurant price at a slightly expensive price (From RM 10 and above) There is a lot of fashion related store there you basically cant run away from it. On the top of the mall there is the roof top garden. The garden as of time of writing this is still under construction but you can basically take a walk there. very pleasant. The parking itself during the weekend can be very hard to find, they were shared with other side of mid valley as well. It is located near a KTM train station that is within walking distance. Further away will be the LRT station but it will be a bit hard to reach.
For the most part, Gardens (as well as Megamall) are great shopping malls but there are 2 reasons why they aren't as good as 1 Utama and Sunway Pyramid. The first is accessibility; getting into and out of Midvalley City is quite the hassle, with traffic from Bangsar, Pantai and the Federal Highway frequently congesting like clockwork. The second reason is a bit more subjective; there isn't much to do in Midvalley City. In 1 Utama and Sunway Pyramid, there are plenty of activities that goes on for families, friends and lovers e.g. 1 Utama has futsal, mountain climbing while Sunway Pyramid has archery, ice skating and it's famous theme park. Gardens Mall seems to be, just a high-end shopping mall which though that is great for Garden residences, isn't a compelling enough reason for outsiders to spend 45 minutes in a traffic jam everyday to get there and get out. If you are coming here, plan your day and come early cause parking is also a hassle.
Soo Kah Kiong
One of the higher end shopping experience in KL. Expect to find high end brands like Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Longchamp, Rimowa and the likes here. Great shopping with nice open spaces and occasional promotions. They have anchor tenant Robinson and Isetan attached here. Good choice of restaurants (various food from Italian, Chinese, Thai, etc.) and café (starbucks, etc.). Parking here is better than Mid Valley side but the crowd starts coming in at 11 am on the weekends.
