  • Petrosains founded in 1999 by Petronas (Malaysian oil company) is a Discovery Center scientific high-tech, interactive through sight, touch, sound, and play in many aspects of science, from the microscopic to the macroscopic, for children and adults of all ages: prehistory, physical chemistry, simulation of geological events, discovered an oil platform... a collection of all... Although largely dedicated to the area of the oil and gas industry, Petrosains also stimulates interest in science and technology, exploration and learning. Interactive exhibits combined with hands-on activities and shows to life sciences, offer visitors a more engaging, more immersive experience, and present a lot of information in a fun and entertaining in a friendly atmosphere, where they are encouraged to touch, feel and manipulate. An educational adventure for both children and adults. Petrosains sits in the Petronas Twin Towers, and occupies the 4th and 5th floor of Tower 1 and Tower 2, and covers an exhibition space of 7,000 m2. The best time to visit Petrosains is in the afternoon and during the week, when trips are completed and it yen a lot, almost every day. KEs 3947 December 2016

  • Science is a way of life. Science is a perspective. Science is the process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner that's precise, predictive and reliable - a transformation, for those lucky enough to experience it, that is empowering and emotional. Brian Greene
  • Petrosains sciencemuseum is naturally sponsored by the national oil company. Fortunately that does not mean it's a comercial exhibition. Yeah you can learn about the benefits of natural sources ;-), but it's about much more. Highly recommended for kids and adults for at least three hours.
