  • A welcome area of greenery, but a lot of areas are unkempt, and hardly any labelling of plants. One end of the gardens is very noisy from traffic, but quieter at the other end. We could see anywhere t...  more »

  • An amazing locale right in the centre of bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. It's surrounded by high risers, you wont be able to see them as you will be in the midst of exotic rain forest. Huge, dense and tall tree surround you. If you are lucky enough, you can also meet some freely wandering wild animals like big lizards, iguanas, some pretty big insects, etc. The botanical garden is in vicinity to various other parks such as bird part (world's biggest open aviary), lake garden, orchid garden, etc. A must visit place.
  • Could easily have been 5 stars But nowhere to buy water. I asked several people and they were also looking for a place to buy water. Enough places to sit down, but I miss places to sit down in places where we look for birds. NICE AND CLEAN and plenty birds! You can spend many days here looking for birds
  • A nice place to come in the morning for the kids and adults alike. There are playgrounds for kids and adults can walk/run around the park. The trees provide good shades on hot days so it is a good place for picnic as well. Parking can be limited so best to be here early (morning b4 7am).
  • It's a big space with lots of different sections of the park dedicated to different terrains (eg: Forest area, garden area, playground). Great place for workouts and jogs as the 2km loop around the park ensures that you won't get bored so quickly. An even better space for a weekend picnic with family and friends!
  • This is about the only worthwhile public park you can visit in KL. Public amenities have been upgraded, additional flora seen around the park. A relaxing place for locals and tourists to hang out at. Pic below is the new structure added in the last couple of years.
