Night Market, Kuala Lumpur

(3.4/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Browse the crowded stands of Night Market to find that perfect bargain. The market offers a great sense of the Kuala Lumpur community and is open only in the evenings, giving it a very unique vibe. Distinct smells and sounds line the stands where you can find a great variety of items and delicious street food. Haggling with the traders remains more or less a necessity here, so brings along your best charm and prepare to pick up some great quality knockoffs for reasonable prices. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Kuala Lumpur holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Night Market and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • You must go and experience the food at the Night Market. Find a food stall, order your food, watch it being cooked and then sit back and watch everyone walking by. It is super cheap and super tasty!

  • Causing traffic congestion along Jalan Yaacob Latif every night as the visitors parked their vehicles indiscriminately along the road. RELA personnel are stationed there every night but did nothing to prevent the visitors from breaking traffic regulations. It is obvious that this place is not a suitable location due to the lack of parking facilities but I'm puzzled as to why DBKL is turning a blind eye. It should be noted that there is a hospital and a fire station located along Jalan Yaacob Latif; the traffic congestion created by this night market could seriously affect the response time of the fire engines and ambulances.
