National Planetarium, Kuala Lumpur

(3.3/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Travel to distant realms with a visit to National Planetarium, which introduces the cosmos through an engaging array of exhibits. The complex's contrasting blue and white exterior offers some good photo ops during sunny weather. Inside, displays and models depict the universe and space exploration, with information boards translated into English. The family-friendly layout should appeal to kids and adults alike. Check out the observation deck for a panoramic view of the city and catch the exhibitions held every hour or so, including a movie in the planetarium theater. • Today 27.02.2017 visited the Planetarium. submission go there at a certain time, and the exhibition is free and the entrance to any working time allowed. bought a ticket for three hours, and only for half an hour in childhood. only stories were in English, with professional complex words. and the pace was fast. Therefore, internalize the information new and interesting for yourself. but at least looked at the sky and "poletala". Thank you.

  • Visit the Planetarium for the second time. It is just on the way between the birds and the National Museum. Admission is free, but if you want to watch a movie-need to pay to view. The exposition of the Planetarium is not large, but interesting enough, especially for children. All you can touch, feel and pressing. I advise you to use the lift to the observation deck. It overlooks the city and parks.

  • (Visited Sept 2016) Various sections were closed for maintenance, with the few accessible exhibits leaving much to be desired in the way of audience engagement. Entrance is free however (though a small fee must be paid for admittance to various space-related theater screenings), and robust air conditioning makes this place a welcome respite from the midday heat, if little else.
  • Balai Cerap is closed till further notice due to lift problem
  • Free. Bridge stair between national museum and planetarium. Also not far away from mational mosque.
  • Because i will go there... Yay!
  • Quirky and interesting. A short walk from the bird park and well worth the visit.
