Head up to the highest viewpoint in the city at Menara Kuala Lumpur. Opened in 1996, this striking communications tower stands at 421 m (1,381 ft) tall and has become a popular tourist attraction, offering unimpeded 360-views of Kuala Lumpur. The elevator up to the observation area moves at quite a speed, taking just 54 seconds to reach the top. Once at the platform, take things at your own pace, enjoying a sit-down meal from the comfort of the revolving restaurant. • This is mostly for those travelling on a budget. There are two types of tickets there: a visit to "Observation deck" only (MYR53, 276 metres above the ground) and a combined visit both to "Observation...  read more »

  • Its actually a little to expensive for travelers but it worth it! The view is amazing and the skydeck makes a lot of fun!
  • 360 Restaurant has great views of city on non smoggy day , it's BEST go day after rain for clear sky city view. Food typical buffet lunch no bragging. Restaurant layout is almost exactly the same as the other rotating restaurants you may find in LA or NY etc. WARNING Dress Clothes needed for dinner, no sloppy shorts they may not let you in. Wear pants and polo shirts guys and dresses for ladies. They want to be fancy place. Photos They well try to sell you many many photos. 2 or 3 photo companies trying to get you buy on way in and out, only one takes credit so bring cash if your family likes photos about 30 to 40 RM per photo.
  • New upside house beside the KL tower. Price fairly expensive for such a small house. The photo and key chain also expensive at set price of RM60 The little house is small and has to enter without shoes. With 2 or 3 groups of family, it is difficult to shoot picture inside. OK but not a very good site. Only visit as an add on when you visit KL tower.
  • I've been quite disappointed by this place. First of all I have to admit that I got a ticket only for the observation deck (first level, with windows) and not to the sky deck (second level, open air) but the sky deck was really expensive ( 105 MYR, twice the price of the first ticket). In general everything is super expensive compared to anyhhing else in KL. The observation deck is quite disapponting, in the night (usually I love to see panoramas by night) you don't have clear view of the outside because of all the colorful annoying lights inside the observation desk. And btw KL is definitely not the best city to watch from the top...there are much better cities. Better spending time in one of the amazing other things the city offers. but the thing that I actually hate the most is the welcoming least 5 people that try to take care of you showing you the tickets you can buy, helping you taking the stairs and showing you the way. It was excessive, I didn't feel comfortable..and they even force you to take a picture to be able to sell it to you after.
  • Worth a trip to observation and open deck. Plenty of scenes and photos to be taken. Selfies rule the roost. Well organised and quick. Budget 2 hrs. The restaurant is nice but expensive. Not worth if you are a vegetarian. Window seats cost more.
  • Tips: Go for afternoon tea and set up your camera for a time lapse video! It's the best value for your money. Really beautiful scenery and an awesome rotating restaurant. Plus no extra cost for a window seat! The tea selection was zero, so I can't give 5 stars ;) but there were delicious snacks and first class views. Better than the big towers because you can have a 360 view.
