  • I always look for this kind of gigantic city name where you can have a photo ops! I just love KL, go and visit i!
  • The KL City Gallery is a good place to take refuge from the extreme heat and rain, when it happens. This is also the place to collect tour brochures. Don't expect the staff there to provide you with the schedule about the cycling and Botanical Park ride. They're run by different operators. So this place is quite useless for any additional information other than the brochures you find here. There's a huge souvenir shop here but you are arm-twisted to buy a RM5 ticket to view the light and sight show of a model of KL that lasted for about 5 minutes. And then you'll be 'herded' into the souvenir shop, where you can 'redeem' the RM5 entrance ticket. You're practically 'forced' to purchase something here and it's hard to find a meaningful souvenir for the price of RM5. The only consolation about the souvenir shop is that half of them are actually Malaysian-made. If you've travelled around the world, you can quickly identify the 'cut and paste' Made-in-China souvenirs. How I wish they give us an option to go straight to the souvenir shop because most of them are actually worth buying.
  • Absolutely astonishing presentation. They have made a smalls scale prototype of the whole city, and explaining the past present and 5 to 10 years projection of the future over this, with a simple but elegent movie presentation. You will feel the KL inside more deeply. This is my third time in this city but i never felt that way about the city. It is a must go. And there is a high quality souvenir shop in downstairs as well. Youbsre paying 5 ringgit and you are using this inside shop to redeem your money. Perfect! Must visit.

  • The KL City Gallery is a shop camouflaged as a museum. On the ground floor there are two small rooms with some information about KL and the topfloor has a huge maquette of Kuala Lumpur with a semi sound and light show. Entrance fee is RM 5, but you get yourt money back in the form of a voucher for souvenirs or very reasonably prices drinks at the cafe on the ground floor. The groundfloor is were the money for this attraction is, as it is a huuuuuge souvenirshop aimed at tourgroups and with commission for the guides.
  • Clean, bright & air conditioned. Lots of helpful information for the tourist. Starting point for the Free Heritage Walking Tour. Could use a prominent directional flag or banner at the main road, as our Grab car couldn't find this place on GPS.
