KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur

4.4
#3 of 21 in Parks in Kuala Lumpur
Head to KLCC Park for a relaxing natural environment in the midst of a modern metropolis. Designed by esteemed architect and ecological activist Roberto Burle Marx, the park offers a welcome counterpoint to the extreme development of the downtown area, providing 20 hectares (49 acres) of landscaped public space. Head to the huge man-made lake and enjoy traversing the grounds, spotting the ornamental features dotted here and there. Exercise enthusiasts should try out the long jogging track made from a special rubberized material, providing extra comfort and decreasing the chance of injury. Still one of the most accessible and first class facilities city park. Great for families with public wading pool, and fully equipped playground. But I wish the constant KLCC expansion plans have swallowed up a quarter of the park temporarily; lets hope the park will be restored to its original size and beauty.

I visited this place with my family and friends group, we enjoyed more that two hours here, good place to have a brisk walk around as the they have paved a separate path with synthetic track surfacing made of polyurethane material which gives us some bouncy feeling when go for a walk or jogging. This park has a underwater world as its neighbourhood, small waterfall and a big children playground also there. Plenty of place to sit and relax our self watching and hearing the therapeutic sound of dancing fountain. Best time would be from 7:30 PM till 9:00.

A good place to walk around as the walking track is paved with running track material which provided some bouncy feeling when walking or jogging. It is a park in the city with small lakes, waterfall and a big children playground. The trees provided shade and water coolers are plentiful. A great place to exercise and socialize. In the evening there is a fountain performance in front of Suria KLCC for one to relax and hear the therapeutic sound of water. Great place indeed.

There are several drinking fountains for you to fill your water bottle after a hot day. Nice park for a little walk. I waited for the light show of the twin towers on a little bridge. It was just amazing. Definitely a must visit in KL.

A very nice maintained park. Surrounded by skyscrapers you talk a long walk and have a nice view for the Twin Towers. Also in the same direction is a big mall. Some free drinking water is available at the park!
