  • I quite enjoyed wandering through the park and the treetop canopy walk was good. I was planning to do a circuit of the whole place but ended up cutting it short as despite my insect repellent I was ge...  more »
  • Our 6-year old really enjoyed the rainforest canopy walk. While it isn't that big of a park and will only take about 20 minutes to explore, it's FREE and definitely a nice side-trip, particularly if c...  more »
  • a must do. a bit of jungle compound in the city centre, free visit but must be able to climb stairs and steps. pass on suspended walkways in the treetops, very well kept. you have to close your eyes to not see the skyscrapers behind and feel in the middle of the jungle: the sound of insects, a hissing sound the same everywhere in the Malaysian jungle, makes from accompanying music.

  • My experience it easy to find this location. Park our car on the opposite direction in front of a church, just a few min walk. We arrive around 10 am. The sun already scorching, but most of the placed covered with tree. They dont have functional toilet. Bring your own water if you want to spend longer time there. I think it suitable place for 5 years and above children and who can withstand a lot of walk. They can also enjoy canopy walk. There a lot of stairs, and the path a little bit hilly. Overall it clean and refreshing.
  • It isn't that obvious from Google where the park is. I foolishly assumed it was the area marked green on the map and headed for that. In fact the entrance is further away from the Tower. The park is tired and scruffy and when I was there, deserted. No visitors, no staff. The rubbish bins were overflowing. It is hot amongst the trees and the is more insect life to find you suitable as dinner. Nice to see some of the bigger trees, but there we were no birds or monkeys. There is quite a bit of litter, bags and bottles scattered around. All in all, don't bother, though to round off on a positive note, it is free.
  • Runing out of ideas for a weekend outing? It was a beautiful Saturday outing at KL Eco Forest for me and my friend. There were canopy walk, several trails and various species of flora and fauna. KL Eco Park will also be great for tourists who would like to experience a mini tropical rainforest, but wouldn't want to leave the city centre. It is located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
  • I had a pleasant experience here. The entrance is south of KL Tower. It was free. Park stretches around the tower. Start at the entrance and follow on the canopy walk. At the end of the canopy walk to your left there are trails. You can follow the trail to the north side of the tower. You will get interesting views of the city through the thick woods. Of course there are no monkeys here. If they were they would be roaming around the city and all be roadkills sooner or later. I saw some squirrels though.
  • Loved this place. Walking on the foot bridges connecting trees was a different experience. Wasn't very crowded perhaps as I went there early Morning. They maintain tree information online which can be accessed using smartphonee amd scancodes. Liked that concept.
