The aviaries are pretty and we can observe a great variety of birds. The irony is that we decided to charge admission, expensive, to see the hornbills. That we have seen or caged (sad) or far (perched on top of a tree)... While we have seen dozens later during our trip. Visit nice especially with children. To do if you stay 3 days or more in KL or if you're staying near the train station.

It's a very big park with a lot of different species of birds. The place is highly recommended especially for kids and families. There's a bird show and an area for photo opportunity with the birds of your choice but of course, it comes with a fee. Tourists gets the chance to feed them too, and there are some big birds like pelicans and peacocks that are roaming freely around the park which makes it more enjoyable for the children for some interactions. The park is good enough for exercise too! You get to see those beautiful birds and at the same time, you get to burn those unwanted calories because it'll gonna take some time and a lot of walking to cover the whole area.

We went there with our 3 years old daughter and we really enjoyed the visit. The bird show at 12:30 is really well done for kids, easy to follow and funny. And the park is impressive, we saw a lot of big colorful birds, which seems to be free because the canopy is huge. I recommend this visit.

Big and well laid out with friendly staff. Lots of birds and good materials to understand what you are seeing. Some of the casual dining areas could be cleaner - pretty caked-in bird droppings. Worth a visit.

Long walk in the open, so be well prepared on a sunny day or rainy day. Entrance fee is 67 for tourists adults and 27 for local adults(must show IC for each ticket). The best part is the birds running around you! Bring snacks for the birds. Other than that, it was pretty tiring, walking around, seeing beautiful birds in the cages and others freely roaming. The bird show was okay. The parrot feeding was pretty nice! Overall a good experience but we left in less than 2 hours because of the heat and exhaustion

I was there in the first week of Jan, 2017, getting off at a nearby railway station and walking uphill to find it. Although the walk was less than 30 minutes, I was sweating all over. Inside the bird park, it was quite nice as peacocks were relaxing here and there. The bird show should be the highlight of the visit. If you want to get what you pay for, be prepared to spend two hours there.
